Power, meet Truth.
Since Congress passed the Ku Klux Klan Act in 1871, We The People have had a private right of action to enforce our Constitutional rights. Today, we litigate civil rights law abuses under that same statute, 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
The Sixth Amendment, along with related cases on civil rights law, gives all citizens the right to effective counsel when accused of criminal wrongdoing. Remember, the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" is absolutely wrong. The correct wording is "innocent unless proven guilty."
Beyond civil rights law, we also practice in areas such as Discrimination, Privacy, Public Records, Consumer Protection and Boundary Disputes. If we cannot help, we will be happy to recommend appropriate counsel for your needs. Feel free to drop us a line through the Contact button below.
